As title suggests, you will get Dwarf Pea Puffer Eggs, Eggs will be freshly laid, and will hatch within a few days of receiving them. You will also receive your starter culture of Live Vinegar Eels for feeding your baby peas.
HOW TO HATCH & CARE FOR YOUR EGGS:
Eggs can be put into an egg tumbler or a breeder box with plenty of flow. They can turn rotten and fungus pretty easily if not enough flow. We use both methods as well as occasionally using Methylene Blue. The eggs will be sent to you with a small amount of Methylene Blue to cover them whilst in transit.
The eggs will turn dark brown when they are ready to hatch which should be in a few days from when you receive them if kept in the right conditions. Once they hatch they will sit on the bottom or on moss (It’s good to have lots of moss in with them) for a couple of days, they will lay pretty still for about 2-3 days, then become free swimming.
At that stage, when free swimming, transfer them to a heavily planted tank with plenty of moss and plants. They are super tiny, so you probably will have trouble seeing them in the heavily planted tank until about 2 weeks old when they will grow a bit and come out of hiding and swim in the open. Feed with either microworms, vinegar eels or BBS until they are bigger and can handle mosquito larvae, blackworms, snails, bloodworms etc
We ship out Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and ship freshly laid eggs, so depending on when you place your order, majority of eggs will be laid after orders are placed. Your order could take anywhere from 1 day to 7 days to ship out depending on the amount of eggs our puffers lay. You will receive tracking details once your egg pack has been sent.
